Maria Shaidrova joined the Café Kyiv conference in Berlin as a panelist in the session “𝐄𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐓𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐭: 𝐋𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐫 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐤𝐞𝐭 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐔𝐤𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐑𝐞𝐟𝐮𝐠𝐞𝐞𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐆𝐞𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐄𝐮𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐞.”

On February 19, experts, policymakers, and organizations came together for the "Alliance to Action: International Skills Alliance for Ukraine in Practice" conference, co-organized by OPORA Foundation and the Ministerie van Buitenlandse Zaken.

On January 30, OPORA Foundation’s CEO Maria Shaidrova participated in the 2nd Coordination Meeting of the Skills Alliance for Ukraine, held in Kyiv. An important aspect of the event was the showcase of successful and innovative initiatives, including OPORA Foundation’s Empatia Program.

On Friday, January 24th, as part of the 𝐂𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐥 𝐒𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐭𝐲 𝐇𝐮𝐛 project, the OPORA Foundation organized an impactful 𝐄𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐭 𝐏𝐨𝐨𝐥 𝐒𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐧 𝐅𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠, aimed at strengthening the capacity of grass-roots organizations supporting Ukrainian communities in the Netherlands.

On january 24, the OPORA Foundation, as part of the Civil Society Hub project, held an expert pool session on fundraising to empower grassroots organizations supporting Ukrainian communities in The Netherlands.

This week in Utrecht, we held the first meeting of the Civil Society Hub project with representatives from 12 dedicated organizations. This marks the beginning of a 10-month journey aimed at empowering local leaders within the Ukrainian community network in the Netherlands.

During the Panorama Ukraine: Resilient Energy Production Workshop in Rotterdam, OPORA researchers joined forces with experts from PosadMaxwan and Felixx Landscape Architects & Planners to lead a needs prioritization session for representatives of Klesiv Municipality in Ukraine.⁣

We created this program to strengthen grassroots initiatives through OPORA’s Civil Society Hubs, which foster cooperation, knowledge-sharing, and training for better integration and community building.
