This week in Utrecht, we held the first meeting of the Civil Society Hub project with representatives from 12 dedicated organizations. This marks the beginning of a 10-month journey aimed at empowering local leaders within the Ukrainian community network in the Netherlands.
This program is designed to provide tailored mentorship and expert-led sessions on critical topics identified by our participating initiatives. Additionally, Empatia Program's team will offer essential psychological support, helping leaders navigate the emotional demands of their roles so they can sustain and expand their impact.
During our first session, we presented a clear roadmap with measurable outcomes, setting a strong foundation for meaningful collaboration and tangible progress in the months ahead.
The Civil Society Hub is a joint effort by the OPORA Foundation and OpenEmbassy, united in our mission to build resilient support networks for displaced Ukrainians in the Netherlands.
