We announce the launch of our new initiative – Civil Society Hub!

𝐖𝐡𝐲 𝐝𝐢𝐝 𝐰𝐞 𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦?⁣
Since early 2022, Ukrainian displaced people have faced numerous challenges as they try to rebuild their lives in the Netherlands. In our research we have identified how local Ukrainian communities and initiatives have played vital roles in supporting them. However, these grassroots efforts, while crucial, often encounter significant obstacles.⁣

𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐢𝐧𝐧𝐨𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐬𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧?
To address these challenges OPORA is launching Civil Society Hubs designed to support community-based initiatives led by Ukrainians. They will serve as platforms for cooperation, knowledge-sharing, and training, all aimed at fostering integration and building stronger connections between Dutch and Ukrainian communities.

𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐥 𝐒𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐭𝐲 𝐇𝐔𝐁 𝐢𝐬 𝐚 𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐠-𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐦 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦 running from October 2024 to May 2025. This initiative is designed for two-way participation, featuring seminars complemented by practical assignments. OpenEmbassy is partnering with us in an advisory capacity, providing valuable insights and guidance to enhance the effectiveness of our project.
