Empatia

Last week, our Empatia Program held its largest event so far, dedicated to Ukrainian psychologists. 𝐎𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝟏𝟎𝟎+ 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐟𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐬 𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐝, 𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐧𝐞𝐭𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤 𝐨𝐟 𝐬𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭. Ukrainian psychologists in the Netherlands are uniquely able to support their fellow Ukrainians, offering guidance in their own language and with a deep understanding of the cultural and emotional challenges they’re going through.
The event provided a platform for discussing key challenges and exploring opportunities for professional growth.
We hosted two practical workshops:
🔶Yevheniia Soloviova from our Legal Advice Program led a session on labor rights in the Netherlands.
🔶Irina Mashuk, Recruiter at Empatia, shared insights on writing CVs, motivation letters, and self-presentation.
We also welcomed Renske Jonker from ZuidOostZorg, who gave detailed information about the LOGO Verklaring and BIG registration with the Nederlands Instituut van Psychologen (NIP), helping our Ukrainian professionals better navigate the Dutch healthcare system.
A special thanks to our panelists—Yana Zirka, Anna Pokrovska, Kseniia Cheliuskina, Natalia Borysova, Natalia Doroshenko, and Anastasia Kopylova — who shared their personal success stories and experiences.
